Recrafted Jeans, Ready for New Adventures
Welcome to my world of upcycled denim, where worn-in jeans get a second chance and every stitch tells a story. What began as a love for handcrafted design and sustainable creativity has grown into a collection of unique bags and accessories made from materials that once lived a completely different life.
I’m Vicky, the maker behind it all. After fourteen years of teaching Maths in secondary schools in London, I traded city life for the fresh air and slower pace of Cirencester in the beautiful Cotswolds. That move sparked a new chapter, one where creativity, sustainability, and the joy of making things by hand took centre stage.
Every piece I create uses reclaimed denim rescued from old wardrobes, thrift shops, and forgotten corners. Instead of letting these well-loved fabrics go to waste, I transform them into something beautiful, practical, and ready to be cherished again.
I don’t work alone, of course! My dog, Bertie, is head of quality control, so he oversees every step (usually from a very comfortable chair) and ensures standards remain high.
The name, Cirendipity was itself a happy accident — a blend of one of my mother’s favourite words, “serendipity,” and my new home in Cirencester. The moment it popped into my head, I knew it had to be!
Thank you for supporting slow fashion, sustainability, and craftwork. I hope you find a piece that feels just right for you.
